BREAKING NEWS UAFA- Senate Judiciary committee releases hearing Witness list

Today Senator Leahy announced the official witness list for the Uniting American Families Act hearing on June 3rd – this week. Shirley Tan will be testifying; as well as a binational American living in exile abroad, the rare appearance at such a hearing the American Bar Association – in suppport of the legislation.     1. I agree; I think the right has made a mistake in its choice of presenters at least in so far as it pertains to UAFA. They seem to be targeting CIR rather than UAFA per se, by virtue of this choice. These people are anti immigration completely and I think that kind of extremism will have a rebound effect. I dont think they will be taken seriously and I do not think they will be well versed on the UAFA core issues. Lets wait and see I may be wrong. I feel as if they are wasting their time, because they will have ZERO impact on the majority on the committee – they would have been wiser to have chosen moderates against UAFA. There problem.
